"...Gag me."

So yeah, this is from my Worst of '76 list. After going back and listening to this song, my opinion has not changed. Well, maybe it has a little, since I've now actually seen the video for the thing. Spoiler alert: the video is incredibly stupid.

Here I have Sorbet depicted as Daryl, the keyboardist of the duo. Honestly, if you see the video, the expression he's making here is not entirely inaccurate from the guy's actual reaction to watching these two people in incredibly cheap-looking muskrat fursuits dancing around. Granted, Daryl's reaction is more one of confusion at what he's witnessing whereas Sorbet here is clearly ready to puke at the horrendously saccharine crap going on here. Still though, I feel like both reactions would pretty accurately sum up this song in a nutshell.

Sorbet belongs to me, and considering the number of artists that have covered this song, I have no idea who 'Muskrat Love' belongs to anymore at this point, just that it's not mine. Though if it were, I would be ashamed to claim ownership.
