Was in a pretty animation'y mood for various reasons today, so I though I'd do a fun test, and try my hand at some 2D animation in The Gimp image editing software. It came out okay, I think. Rough for sure, but given what I now know, that...animating on The Gimp is not exactly, streamlined or practical, in that you do it by stacking layers rather than how you would normally do it in animation software, which means you can't view your animation properly until you've at least finished all the lineart and added a background. But, despite that, think it came out okay, was a fun test.
