That's not a very healthy psychological stance to put, or very nice to Deon. Putting him up on a pedestal like that, and keeping yourself from accepting the compliment.

If someone pays you a compliment, please simply accept it graciously. It isn't about who's better or who's best. If someone recognizes the good work you do, allow yourself to be recognized. You're not going to be shamed for having an ego just because someone else said something nice about your work.

Whether some points of view are illustrated, I do not wish any ill will towards Deon.
If I was vindictive, I wouldn't be a fan of him or his work. I do see your point though and it
actually does make sense. Regardless if Deon doesn't feel comfortable with the image, then I will delete it with respect. Depending on how people see humor these days, it comes in many forms.

During streams I get the compliments and I enjoy them, but always say, Deon is better.
I love his art designs. XD This idea was brewing in my head for quite awhile until I had time to draw it. I even informed him of a joke image in another stream.

All that really matters here is what you have internalized. You don't need to prove anything to me, or even to Deon. So long as you, in your own heart, acknowledge your skill and the work you've put into it. Don't short yourself :)
