more work on the trade figure...or guess could say redoing the work done plus a little more...
tried a different clay last night..the one in the grey box there..and it wasn't any good either...too dried out...so went back to the supersculpey...wanted something more firm for the details..but will have to make do with the other..
not really sure about how good it is turning out so far...but will do more work on it tomorrow hopefully...try to fix anything that kitty doesn't like...or the one getting the trade..

Looks really nice!
I use the firm stuff a lot, but what you have to do is mix it with the regular (peachy) Super Sculpey. Mix just a tiny bit more of the regular (so instead of half and half, just a tad under half of firm...), and if you have any Sculpey Diluent add a drop or two of that as well. mix it until it's all one color, and you have both a firm and pliable clay all in one. A professional sculptor taught me this - it works like a charm!! Takes awhile to knead it thoroughly, but it's absolutely worth it. Give it a shot sometime if you get a chance. =)

Additionally, if you ever have any questions about clay stuff, this guy could probably help! I ask him from time to time and he's always super nice and patient with his explanations. =D

Firm is definitely a tad dry and it usually hurts my hands, but when mixed with regular Super Sculpey it's really great. =)
If you ever order your supplies online, I wholeheartedly recommend doing so here - and this is also the link to the diluent if you want to grab a bottle! It lasts for a long time since 1-2 drops is really all you'll need each time you use it. Stuff is also generally a bit cheaper on this site, and if you live far from an art store or art warehouse like I do it really helps since the shipping prices are fair.
