Scene of Nick Wilde (shooter) and his team mate Judy Hopps (spotter and team security) set up for action. Rather than a bullet firing (lethal) rifle
ebonyleopard gave Nick an extreme long range dart shooter (one would thing that dang thing would leave one HECK of a bruise on anyone hit by it!).

Thanks Zorro. I'm delighted to read the accounts of an expert on the subject, and it seems you've had experience with such things. My greatest concern was about the glass vial containing the serum shattering once the dart leaves the muzzle of the gun, but I now understand it was drawn that way for effect. I kind of like to imagine that given the level of advanced technology featured in the Zootopia cartoon, they might have something like one of those anti-tank missiles that flies in a high parabolic arc, sheds it's launch sheath, then parachutes to the target. Now you got me to thinking again about "Non Lethal Force" weapons, and how to apply them... In drawing form at least.
