When Joseph suggested Venti get himself an agent, he had no clue how to find one, but thanks to the tiger, he was able to find one, a 30-something red panda who went by the name of Summer, who went over the contract with a keen eye and declared it worth signing.
"It's a paid shoot as opposed to a TFP," she explained over the phone a month prior to the event.
"And for us newbies who have no idea what a TFP is, ma'am?" Venti felt ignorant for asking.
"It means Trade For Print," she explained with a dry chuckle. "Had you been working for that you would be receiving copies of the work to add to your portfolio. You might want to consider that, since you can't count on your unique looks to get you all the jobs."
"I'm not even sure if I'm going to pursue this," Venti had argued. Did he really want to be a model? Art said he would support any decision he made, but hinted that it would be quite glamorous, not to mention probably stressful. It was then Venti learned of Art's obsession with that Top Model show.
"If you do, I'll represent you."
So that was that. Venti made sure to get plenty of sleep, and on the day of the shoot he and Otis both arrived for the shoot. He was a bit surprised Otis agreed to do this, but was glad his friend was there.
Alexander was also present, but what Venti didn't expect was how professional the bull was. There were no problems during the photoshoot; he even complimented him on his posing. After several photos and an equal number of hours, Alexander called it a day. Everything went smoothly.
This left Venti feeling very suspicious.
"Come off it, Venti," Max said after the jackal expressed his concerns. "You said it yourself, the shoot went by without any problems. Bronx was a professional all the way through it, right?"
"That's what worries me," Venti grunted, eyeing the bull as he drove off.
"I think you're being paranoid, big guy."
"Maybe I am, but I'm glad I got me an agent to represent me."
