*cue hype music to Bandits Breakdown intro to the hosts*
Hiddson: Hello and welcome once again to Bandits Breakdown. Your one stop for all things, Las Vegas Bandits. I'm Brett Hiddson along with my colleague, Terrence Thursday. Three weeks left in the regular season, Terry. The Bandits need to finish strong to crystallize their spot in the playoffs, otherwise... they'll have to spend January at home watching the playoffs. The Bandits are capable after big wins against North Florida and New York, but now the Baltimore Ponies come to town for this home finale and this could be great game with both teams thinking playoffs on the horizon.
Thursday: Yeah this is our second time seeing the Ponies. This time the game will count and it will be interesting to see what adjustments both teams will have since that preseason game.

Hiddson: Yes indeed, big games like this always have its moments. Bandits Striking first thanks to Terry Paige with a 3 yard touchdown run. 7-0 Desert Desperadoes. Ponies with the ball now and a scary moment for the Bandits. Aspen looking to pass gets a huge block and completes to Austin Pool for 37 yards... but over by the line of scrimmage...*music silences out* Justin Brown was the blocked one and he's down... and still down... and you can see on the replay his head thudding from the whiplash of the pancake block... Fans and players alike holding their collective breaths as eventually Justin would need to be carted off on a stretcher. Well find out how bad is it but anytime a stretcher is involved... especially this late into the season it could mean missing the rest of the regular season and more..
Thursday: Injuries always happen in this league and can happen to anyone but when its a player with caliber like Brown or even Stapler earlier, it's always tougher take. But as you see there he gives the crowd a wave... the most encouraging sign of this ordeal. Always easy to forget the kind of sacrifice these players continue to make to be the best and lead their team, Brett.
Hiddson: Yes indeed, Terry. *music resumes* Still we had to finish this game and the Ponies couldn't respond with points from the drive. But things looked up for Baltimore in the second quarter. After a quick field goal by Cooper for the Bandits. The Ponies get a huge turnover by way of Pick six thanks to Egret safety Coley Miller. A 50 yard pick six for him. The Ponies would get another interception this time by Bennett McWilliams, the killdeer safety. Eventually the Ponies would get a field goal to tie the game.
Thursday: Not the best half for Stapler as the secondary for the Ponies not getting fooled by the play fakes, leading to the picks.
Hiddson: Third quarter action and the only score would be the Sorin Furchet's amazing catch for 21 yards and the touchdown. 17-10 Ponies take the lead. Fourth Quarter now and the Bandits need scores. And after driving down the field... Stapler finds Stephen Harris for the huge game tying touchdown! Then later on would take the lead with a Cooper field goal. Ponies would respond with a field goal of their own to make it 20-20. And they're thinking get this to overtime. But Coby had other plans... Great kick off return to get the Bandits near field goal range and the Bandits would have the clock be a friend as they use t to the final seconds and a 43 yard Field goal...
KLVB Radio: Just 3 seconds left and a 43 yard field goal attempt for Raleigh Cooper... Can he do it again or will we head to overtime? Here's snap... hold.. kick is up... straight enough and Good! The Kick is good and No time left on the clock! Bandits win 23-20! Another game winning kick for the rookie kicker! This time in regulation.
Hiddson: And with thanks to our friends at KLVB radio, Bandits get another big win but with Justin Brown down and out for what cost? We go to coach Erinia for more...
Erinia: The... the injury to Brown looking to be a head injury... he actually passed the concussion tests so that's not the issue but still early reports are that his skull may be fractured... I'm not a doctor but I wouldn't risk putting him out there if that's the case.
Hiddson: A fractured skull injury... it's amazing he's still alive, Terry, let alone being out for the season.
Thursday: Yeah.. a tough one to take, but now is the time for the defense to step up. And next fur in is Carl Burleson, the big Yorkie defensive end. It'll be tough to fill Justin's shoes but if he can step up to the challenge, the Bandits will have a good chance of not missing too big of a beat.
Hiddson: He did do well and even got a sack in the game. But we'll see if he can step it up once more... and with that we'll take a short break. When we come back the Bandits go on the road to take on the Easton Bald Eagles.
