Hey puppy, how are you? I hope you're doing fine. Daddie's just here thinking about you and the times we used to spend together.
I remember the day you were born. I was so unsure if I was ready to have a son. But the moment I saw you my heart melted. I saw the most beautiful baby boy in the world. When I held you close for the first time, I felt your heartbeat. I gently pressed you against my chest making you hear mine. You gripped my hand hard and you smiled. I always loved your smile. I remember when you were still very young, you'd always want daddie to hold you close and carry you whenever you feel sad. Whenever you started to cry, I would always rush to you and even if you don't want to talk about it, daddie always seemed to always have a way of making you talk. You were born with the gift of art. You had such a knack for drawing. You would always draw us as a family. And even though you always said that it was drawn badly, I could always see how much heart you put in it. I still remember the first drawings you made and even if the paper you drew them in are gone, i can still clearly remember each one.
But now it's time for you to spread your own wings and fly. I know I may not have been the best dad but You know I tried my very best to raise you on my own. I know I have a lot of flaws and I wish you could find it in your heart forgive me for them. You and I may not be seeing each other as often as I wanted but you're old enough to take care of yourself and make your own decisions. Just like the time I taught you to ride a bike, I have to let you go for you to learn. You have nothing to prove to anyone other than yourself. I love you for who you are and whoever you want to be. But always remember, if you ever fall down or just need a place to rest, you know you'll always have someone to call home.
Thank you puppy, thank you for making my life meaningful :3
Love, Daddie
P.S. Don't forget to sleep early D: Stop staying up so late D:
