My apols to the author (
Walt46) for the delay in cross-posting this, especially since it's continuing a story I'm quite keen on.
We know that the Master of Elfhame isn't one for Statecraft, yet in this episode, he's right smack in the middle of a hefty dose of it, since an emissary from The Grey Horde has come to the foot of the High King's throne.
What, one wonders, do the war-like, kilt-wearing canines want?
Oh, and Wolf Queen as Mothra. Discuss

Definitely interesting. Not all of Erik's wolves had mates, but now they do, courtesy of the Gypsies. who will go home? who will stay? will Wintersloe's bookbinder leave? he had a wife and child at home, an now he has two wives in Elfhame. Perhaps he will ask the wife and child to journey to elfhame to have all three of them in one spot. The wolves may no longer consider themselves prisoners, and have been doing well as handyfurs in Elfhame. some singletons may well stay. The does of Elfhame will be delighted at the thought of fewer mels in the vale, so it will be WIntersloes loss if they leave...
of course, WIntersloe's treatment of the prisoners will likely go down well, and may be a step to making him a minor nobility. which will please Anastasia. many areas you could go with this. and not even a skal pie would hinder it.

My own belief is that WW5, being a professional solider (albeit a squaddie), has certain beliefs regarding how soldiers should be treated. The wolf prisoners were, after all, nearly all squaddies themselves. It's a matter of personal and professional honour with WW5 to treat them right.
The question of the Gypsies, of course, is more a force of nature than anything else WW5 could control. Ditto the Winger (now Ashearth) Sisters.

You use the Redcaps as Police in the shining lands, so I was slightly surprised to find Bluecaps.
