A lot of my drawings lately have been mainly gesture and pose studies. I'm trying to challenge myself to make awkward angles to see just how good my spacial reasoning is. This is one of them. Not a traditional sort of picture of just a standing or laying down night fury.

I'm also trying to remember to put in little bits and bobs that I normally leave out for the sake of expediency. Things like the hip fins, vertical scales (both along the spine and on the forearms), claws, AND remembering that wing muscles have to be really beefy.

Not too shabby for a fifty minute drawing, eh?
