Welcome to Frappuchinos! Now Serving: Pangolin Visit
"You didn't need to bring anything, Ginnis," Venti said as he took the bottle of plum wine from the pangolin, then stepped to the side as Ginnis walked in.
"It's not a problem, Venti," Ginnis said, smiling up at the jackal. "As a guest I should bring something to dinner, right?"
Venti held up the bottle, examining it under the slim beam of sunlight that filtered through the window blinds. "I can't really refuse the good stuff, right?" He looked back at Ginnis with a mock glare. "Next time bring the cheap stuff so I can refuse it."
Ginnis laughed. "No way."
"Damn, I guess you told me," Venti grinned as he walked to the kitchen. Art shook his head as he checked on the potatoes which were boiling in the pot. "When did you start taking lessons from my boyfriend, Ginnis?"
Ginnis sat down on the plush sofa. "Never. I guess we both know how to instinctively handle you."
Venti placed his hand over his heart. "I'm so doomed." He placed the wine bottle on the kitchen counter, then walked over to the sofa, sitting next to Ginnis. "Thanks for coming over for dinner," he said, draping his arm across the pangolin's shoulders.
Ginnis leaned up against Venti's side briefly. "I always enjoy seeing you and Art."
"That's lucky for us, since we feel the same way," Art said as he stood in the entryway to the kitchen.
"So what's this about you finding a boyfriend, Ginnis?" Venti said, hugging the pangolin against his side. "Does this mean no more friendly cuddles?"
"Well, he's in Michigan, so you're not going to lose me anytime soon. As a matter of fact, I'm going to try and convince him to move here."
"Good luck," Art said. "I've been trying to convince Venti to move in with me, and so far he's been waffling."
"As if," Venti snorted, grinning at Art. "We both know you'll be moving here."
"This place is too small for us."
"Too small for me, maybe."
"That's because you're too big for your own good."
"King Kong's runt of a brother, that's me."
Ginnis laughed. "I love you guys."
"Who wouldn't?" Venti grinned.

yo wait wut? Dude I love this story and have been reading every installment...but...Reno? For reals? I mean of all the places in the world, Reno? On the one hand I hope that's a misprint for the crew's sake; on the other, I'm feeling a bit giddy at the thought of a ginormous jackal walking down Virginia St. kekeke. Anyway keep up the rockin work (even though I don't know *how* you keep coming up with new material day after day) xD
