A suggestion to help clean up the border problems caused by FA's Flash resizing issue:
Make a new layer on top of everything else in your project, and make a set of four solid rectangles outside the stage to enclose your viewable space. This'll create a nice border and if your window gets resized for any reason, the "offscreen" areas will be hidden underneath.
