Cerberus is very accepting of belly rubs, so long as you play your cards right and avoid "patronizing" him. He is still the Lord of the Underworld, so he takes offence to the thought of "belly rubs." It is best to instead present it as an offering to the Dark Lord, because then you are willingly admitting and submitting to his power. He will also be similarly offended if you call him fat; even if he is completely immobile, implying that he is in an abnormal weight range will send him into a fury. A fury in this scenario, however, would most likely resemble tiny paws flailing to no avail atop a doughy mountain of lard.
