heheh I definitely like it! I have 0 criticism on an anatomical or pose type level it's all really good. I have a few nagging thoughts about a few minor details though. first is keeping the coiff of his mane that kind of flows down his face on the first form, though in the second larger one I'm cool with it staying as you have it since it helps kind of separate the forms; it doesn't have to be nearly as exaggerated as the way I do it on toon-ier type illustrations, just enough to keep the somewhat iconic detail there. Also adding the slight scaling/plating on the ridge of the snout for consistency's sake (I mean feel free to take some liberties in how that's done to make it fit in your style though).

Y'know, I did notice that scaling before, but only recall seeing it on one drawing and thought it might have been an error on that artist's part. But, I'll chalk that up to me just not paying close enough attention. I'll definitely make sure to fix that and the mane before I start inking. :)

not totally your fault, I tried to keep the refs thin instead of flooding you with them, that's probably why XD. and yeah, definitely a solid composition, would totally get you to try this again sometime!
