One of the options you could consider is finding a company that will take your artwork and put it on mugs, mouse pads, etc. Here in the U.S., we have Fine Art America. You could make up stuff like this, and no one would need to know it was AB/DL stuff. You set the amount you want to make over and above the cost.

Yeah there's a lot of sites like that but they take the majority of the money (after all they print it and ship it so the majority of the costs are theirs so if I sold a mug for say 15 dollars I'd get about 2 dollars of that. But if I do it myself then I can have fun making the stuff and keep any profit myself
This is true, and each one would be unique, but there is still the cost of buying the mugs, the paint, your time and effort, and a reduced market. I'm not saying you SHOULD do this, only that you COULD do it, and maybe make more money in the long run. Save your one offs for Patreon pledges.
