Welcome to Frappuchinos! Now Serving: Thoughtlessness
"He's dating."
Art lifted his head upon hearing Venti's statement, then closed the book he was reading, keeping his finger between the pages so he wouldn't lose his place. "Who's dating?" he asked, feeling a bit confused.
"Singa."
"Oh. Good for him."
Venti shook his head. "He's dating a reindeer that's larger than him."
Art arched an eyebrow. "So?"
Venti started looked at the lion as if Art was some strange new visitor to his apartment. "So don't you see? He's trying to find a replacement for me."
"And this is a bad thing...how?" Art felt hopelessly lost in the conversation.
"He's going to be disappointed when this new guy doesn't measure up to me."
Now Art understood. He shook his head almost exactly how Venti had done earlier. "Oh, Venti," he sighed.
Venti narrowed his eyes, the red pupils becoming slits. "What do you mean 'Oh, Venti'?"
"You're jealous that Singa might stop pining for you."
"That's..." Venti's eyes slightly opened, and he was clearly now thinking on Art's words. "Oh Christ, you're right."
"You're so egotistical sometimes."
"I know, and...wait, what do you mean I'm so egotistical?"
"You are, and you know it." Art didn't understand why he was growing so angry, but he was, and he couldn't stop it. "I don't understand why you have to be everyone's friend, or why you have to act like you're on stage all the time. I mean, you have a following on the Internet, you're going to be on the cover of a muscle magazine, so why does Singa have to be the one who fawns over you." He then did the unthinkable, poking Venti's chest with his book. "I should be enough for you."
Venti was left speechless for a moment, then finally found his voice. "What the Hell is this all about, Art? Of course you're enough for me. You're my boyfriend."
"Then stop being jealous that Singa might pay less attention to you," Art growled, his tail thumping against the couch rapidly.
"Why are you so angry?"
"Because you can be such a thoughtless jerk sometimes."
Venti felt a chill down his spine. It was Damon all over again.
Dammit, he thought.

Seriously, I think they should break up and then Venti realises exactly how egotistical he is and try to change to win Art back. Art, on the other hand, will want Venti back but make out he doesn't, so he tries harder and realise the error of his mistakes, how it went wrong with Damon and change so it will never happen again. Then they get back together and Venti proposes marriage :)
all the characters should realize you set them free if the come back to you use them for all they're worth they're just begging to be used that way & everyone shows love in different ways be it physical - bieng used by just your significant other or participating in a 3 , 4-some or orgy to show love , letting him exhibit you , others use you as he watches or purely non physical
Venti has been presented with the one detail that seems to harm him and both he and Art realize it now. I don't see Art breaking up with him, not of his choice, so Venti would have to be the one to initiate such a dramatic change and it would be for Art's sake. Again though, the issue that had plagued Venti's former relationship is now visible to him, and all that can be predicted is that he will have to take steps to change it. Those steps lay somewhere in where the friends he has made can guide him, and I'm more than sure each has their own bit of wisdom to offer him, perhaps the first being to take things slow and take time to think on the issue and not rush a behavioral transformation, whatever advice is beyond that, whether it be about love, one's ego, perceptions, or behavior, would be left to discover.
In summary, take time to reflect and find the answer to one's problem in those closest to you.

"For what it's worth, who cares if he finds someone who isn't you? It isn't any of your business about how others compare to you, nor is it truly any of your business who someone else dates. Yeah, there is a subtle-ish ego streak, more subtle than those freaking huge muscles of yours, but still, it's subtle enough that YOU didn't even notice. Art has the right to be annoyed and jealous with you, so in the end, you have two choices. Keep on and lose the best thing that's happened to you in ages, or be a mature meathead and make good with your boyfriend, work to get past this side of you, and make yourself better for it."
Honestly, I know Venti's more intelligent than this. For all we know, he might think that it won't work out and Singa will come back pining over him with a vengeance, but if that were the case and he wanted nothing of Singa's attentions, he could be blunt and honest.

Well, it's surprising to see Art overreact like this (at least to me) especially when he's been so cool about everything else. I don't think Venti is in the wrong because he admits to the faults that Art got upset with. Might just be me, though, but if I was Venti (now there's an image) I wouldn't be talking to Art for a while, however irritating or hard it would be.
I saw it coming. The conflict (not about that particular issue, but in general). Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I understand Art's anger, you want to be the one most important to your lover, but Art is overacting just a bit. Yeah your boyfriend is a giant billboard for drama but he doe love YOU. Venti needs to understand that Art just wants to be important in Venti's life, and Venti is indirectly making Art jelous of everyone. jelousy leads to doupt just like weve already seen in the library. There relationship is stong enough to get by this, or at least I hope so! Drop da EGOS and TALK PEOPLES!!!

Venti is incredibly popular and I can identify with Art here a bit. However he is over-reacting a bit and both should stop and think before continuing. Venti should rethink his actions somewhat and maybe get over past issues. Art should stop being jealous quite so much. But I don't know.... Maybe give it time before they are comfortable again. This is one problem that takes a while to get over :P
Mmrm. Art had it right, and at first, Venti was all set to agree with him. Theeeeen he went and got defensive, which just spiked Art's reaction into over the line, which just made both feed on each other's. Budding storm? Sure.
Myself? I think yes, there's issues. What relationship doesn't have 'em? It's a passing thing - necessary to be worked out, yes, but once heads have cooled, irrational fears have passed, then they will work it out. If they don't, then I'm guessing they weren't right for each other to begin with, which is a pity with the tempering Art's had on the jackal. Art is a bit afraid of Venti - and the size is only part of that - and Venti is edging back into that arrogant attitude that so dangerously could lead to bullying. If he's not careful, he could end up like his ex, whom even he doesn't like.

Personally, I think Venti should stop being such a kid about stuff and look at thing from Art's perspective, because I side with the lion. Its not good that Venti wants so much attention, and is actually feeling affected by what's going on in Singa's life. Also, his statement that the reindeer isn't going to measure up to him is a serious indicater that his ego is in the clouds on this. I doubt that just by meeting him in the gym and hanging out during workouts Venti is going to make a full and acurate personality profile of the cervine. Also, Singa's needs might have changed during this time, and this reindeer just might satisfy them even better than Venti ever could. Size isn't everything, after all.
Venti needs to think hard and eat some humble pie.
