Lord of the Rings came out when I was in the first grade. I've been madly in love with the series ever since and it's been my sort of "gateway" into all things nerdy. It led me to play Dungeons&Dragons, which led me to start creatively thinking of characters, which eventually led to me finding the Furry community.
More than a decade after the Fellowship of the Ring came out in theatres, I discovered that my roommate had never seen the trilogy. I helped him. After finishing Return of the King, I had a massive spark of inspiration and jumped from the couch. This painting is the result of that inspiration.
