
Silly title, I know, but they ARE wearing camo. Another shot that suffers some from being spur-of-the-moment. You do have to admit, though...the top half of that cadet behind the tree IS hard to make out.

It, amusingly enough, nicely demonstrates the principle purpose of camouflage patterns: disrupt the outline to reduce recognizeability. Doesn't make you invisible, per se, but if folks can't really tell what you are or that you're there, it's just as good. That's why things like the digital camo patterns work so well.
