Ugh, sorry posted the wrong page. You might have to refresh the page if it seems like you've seen the page before.
Saiko and Lavender by Michael Vega and Diana Sprinkle... in various jobs that change from issue to issue also with inks by Daria McGrain
If you want to skip ahead you can always go to my webcomic site here: Saiko and Lavender Archive
In the background of panel one you can see the Cubed Yak eat the evil that came out of Lavender's potion from the page before. Which leads to my retarded write up about what the F a Cubed Yak is:
A Cubed Yak is a potion component for whenever your bi-product is Demons, Evil, Foul things, Shadows and Unicorns. Eats them right up, it does, keeps your potion workshop clean of pure evil.
The "Cube Yak" is a wiley beast vegtable thing from the swamp land. It's very friendly but its taste for terrible pranks causes trouble to all who track it for it's eating abilities. Lavender sells them at discounts during the raining season when they've been known to migrate in droves to cozy cabins and are easy to harvest.
The "Cubed Yak" has 6 faces not always different and not always happy. It's good luck if you can only find one face that bites. Some extra care in handling is suggested. =D
In panel 2 the sign over the protective potion dome says: "Touch and Die Twice!"
The potion Lavender makes is a Fame potion. Due to me forgetting stuff, later in issue 2 she uses this potion and its "aged" to be 15 minutes of fame instead of the 5 I wrote here.
Heh heh, I like that Saiko helps herself hold the phone so she can write down the address.
You can also vote for Saiko and Lavender at Topwebcomics once a day... forever! Well, you could if you wanted to. Heh heh.
Saiko and Lavender originally ran as a 5 issue mini series in 2000-2001 and was published by Anti-Ballistic Pixelations, the fine people that do Gremlin Trouble. We then put out a one shot Spooktacular and collected the series as a graphic novel through Radio Comix. The comics and graphics are still available for order at my new online store: http://www.ghostcircles.com/store/s.....my-art/comics/
