Saiko and Lavender by Michael Vega and Diana Sprinkle... in various jobs that change from issue to issue also with inks by Daria McGrain
If you want to skip ahead you can always go to my webcomic site here: Saiko and Lavender Archive
In this page Saiko moves really fast and I had to draw many, many versions of her. In the bottom left panel there's even one Saiko lifting another one so she can put something on the shelf.
Also one Saiko complains on the background of panel 4 when Lavender pulls the note out of Saiko's hand and in Panel 6 one says "Hey! don't be mean to me!" Fun with super fast moving characters. meh!
Lavender's lighter light bulb was influenced by, of all things, "Bevis and Butthead."
In panel 5 Lavender shovels potions into her bag along with the cubed Yak and some tongs. Also there's a potion with tiny letters that says "Stanley" and the 5 minutes of Fame has already changed to 15.
You can also vote for Saiko and Lavender at Topwebcomics once a day... forever! Well, you could if you wanted to. Heh heh.
Saiko and Lavender originally ran as a 5 issue mini series in 2000-2001 and was published by Anti-Ballistic Pixelations, the fine people that do Gremlin Trouble. We then put out a one shot Spooktacular and collected the series as a graphic novel through Radio Comix. The comics and graphics are still available for order at my new online store: http://www.ghostcircles.com/store/s.....my-art/comics/
