This commission of the character Leon Dota was created for RedFox, and is featured in a couple of other illustrations. The costuming was selected by him, and looks quite sharp - it stirs in me a desire for a clothing budget. Although if I ever dared to don a white suit, I can only imagine the shocking speed and thoroughness with which I would stain it. Thoughtless pasta-cooking day? Climbing trees? Alligator attack? I'd figure something out to destroy it with. Whenever I can afford a suit, It'll have to be camo patches with an overlay of flannel patterning. At least it would have the added bonus of blinding enemies. It would be fun to look like one of my own characters.... But I'd run into the same problem in my luxurious new Nabonidus robes. Insta-stain.
Plus, I don't know exactly why, but I find myself preferring more 'fancy' clothing as opposed to t-shirt fare. It all started with that fedora... Now I find myself lusting after vests and pocketwatches. I feel I may be caught in a wicked gravity from which there is no escape - until I wake up one day and find myself staring into a mirror at a Mordecai Heller wanna-be.

Looking dapper!
Believe it or not, white suits can work extremely well, but if you're eating Italian food, just make sure you're using a mappina. I had a white suit I wore in high school. (Private school; we all wore jackets and ties.) It's a striking look, and you'll definitely get compliments! Don't forget to add the fedora, too.
