Hello everyone!

My chinchilla Minchi hasn't been feeling well for the past couple weeks. He's been on meds ever since but he still doesn't eat on his own (I have to feed him with a syringe) and is losing weight.

The vet told me he'd need to sedate Minchi to explore his mouth to see what's hurting him if he didn't improve, which isn't happening, but the sedation is quite expensive and I don't have enough savings for it!

EDIT: today, April 16th, we've had to put Minchi down after waking up to him seizuring at the bottom of his cage. We rushed him to an urgency vet but after X-rays showing a huge mass in his abdomen that couldn't be removed under surgery (combined with how weak he already was) gave us a 0% chance of him surviving. I'm so sad... he was only almost 4 years old.
