One of my first real attempts at a comic version of my stories instead of a still frame and story in the comment section XD
A while ago I was asked if Vivy ever took her head off herself for activities or if it was only Crystal messing around with her that lead to her head off every time. This is one of the things where Vivy will take her head off herself.
She loves to read and she's found that her favorite way of doing it is lying on her back, nesting her head on her chest and putting the book in front of her. This way she gets no neck, arm or neck pains and she even gets to be fully lying down while doing it @_@
However, she does seem to get into her reading material a lot and tends to forget where her head is often. Which means that she will roll over or shift her positioning at times which will make her head tip over or roll off the bed entirely.
This is one of those times where Crystal ends up messing with her, without even realizing it X3

If you mean in general, Vivy's neck was roboticized and there were two buttons on her neck afterwords. The top button disconnects her head from her neck and the bottom button disconnects her neck from her body. She stays connected by little clamps as well as suction to keep her together (hence the snap and whoosh heard when a button is pushed), so when the buttons aren't pushed her head is 100% attached.
If you meant me personally, I'm not really sure even myself XD I just woke up on my 18th birthday and I was detached. When I place my head on my body the two parts of the neck just merge together till not even a mark is seen. I found out the hard way though that even without a mark, I'm only 99% attached and can still be pulled off if a lot of force is applied, it hurts a ton though ><
And if by chance you mean how Vivy stays on her chest while she's reading like in the artwork, she nestles the back of her head between her boobs so it helps hold her in place and makes her, her own pillow XD
