You know, I was debating whether or not on changing the title that I had decided on with the release of that new Tom Hanks film, but, in the end I decided to stick with it. It fit really well and it's just unfortunate that there's a movie with a similar title released this year. As it is, though, this comic series will go on after the movie has died down, so it's alright. The title is Hybrid: Gods and Demons and it is in the stages of being printed, now. I have a title for the second series of Hybrid which I'm working on as I get ideas while continuing the first series...but, I don't remember what I titled it I wrote it down, though. Besides, it's subject to change as I write more and more Anyway, I hope you like the cover *blushes*

Thanks so much! Yeah, I had this title in place months ago. ...you can imagine my irritation when this movie was announced. *sighs* Ah well, the title is important so it's going to stay. ...I mean, at this point it's already at the presses, so I can't do anything about it now!

I think it's good you stuck with the title. "angels and demons" and "Gods and Demons" has quite a different feel to it to me. One suggests Christianity (or Judaism?), the other something completely different. More fantasy like. I'm not even sure I would make the connection unless I see the movie and the comic on the same day. I can understand your irritation though. The timing is pretty poor. But the similarity is superficial. I also can hardly imagine the stories being similar, especially now that I've seen the cover of the Tom Hanks movie too. Does not smell like rip off at all. *hugs*

Is this a comic book? And it's going to be on sale? I like the cute poster and would really like to know the story behind it, but being the teenager that I am, sadly I can only pay cash for anything and therefore am not able to get a copy .

Yet another sad fact is that I am going to be in Canada for the 4th of July. Doesn't that sound patriotic? Anyway, I won't be going to this year's AC . It's in Pittsburgh, too, and it's so darn close! Will you be selling this online or not? I might be able to get my Mom to buy it.
