She turned out nice enough after being abducted by aliens.

That part made me sad, kinda. Even if she was a bully, if I was Chicken or Abby, I'd hate to see her change just because of some alien mind-meddling. So, I'd try to bring her back to normal and hope she learned from the experience.

I think that would be a better end for her if Runt stood up to her bullying ways and shut her down! She might dig someone standing up to her and fall in love with the piggy!

I think, right from the start, I got the sense that Foxy picked on Chicken Little and the others because they were the misfits, and she secretly fears she's exactly like them. She shows obvious signs of being an overachiever. So I think that being plump and having braces has a really big effect on her self esteem. She knows she's not a typical girl, and so to shield herself from being picked on, she picks on others. I thought maybe Abby could find something in one of her magazines to help her get through to Foxy and talk about it. Maybe Foxy would even be envious of the outcasts, since they openly accept their status and have solid friendships with each other.

Marvel's Squadron Supreme used the idea. They subjected a number of captured super-villains - using a mind modifier or neuron-stripper or whatever to reform them. The process, invented by Tom Thumb (Marvel's take on the Atom, a dwarf genius who invented much of the hardware and gadgets the Squadron used.). He knew of no way to undo the reprogramming, tho.

The forcibly reformed villains even joined the Squadron -until an uncaptured archenemy found a way to reverse the effect. Some of the reverted subjects of the process remained reformed -they liked being heroes. Others resumed their war with the Squadron.

The process was even abused by one to turn Lady Lark into falling in love with him. Her behaiivor became irrational !

Each issue of the 12-issue maxiseries moved a month in time.

Nothing like a mental rebuild by extraterrestrials to solve a bullying problem, amirite?

Well, see my reply to Squeakybunny up above. Even though she's nicer now, she's not the same fox anymore. Her whole personality's reversed. And what must her parents think? I did like the movie, but the way Foxy ended up raised some uncomfortable questions for me.

Not quite reversed. She would be cowardly if it went that way. Of course the parasol doesn't go well with the coveralls, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Still, even if someone were my worst enemy, I wouldn't want to see them lose everything that made them who they are.

I've thought about doing a fanfic where Abby realizes it's not right to leave Foxy this way, so she convinces the boys to help change her back. (Runt is not happy with this.) Thy succeed, Foxy 'wakes up' but remembers everything that happened during her transformation. She feels ashamed that these kids she picked on actually helped her, so happy-sappy cutesy friendly ending occurs. :)

In my fan-fics, at the peak of my phase, in my Oz novel, the Girl with Four Parents is a case of the above. The actual process is not shown, but the nasty princess becomes a newborn baby and grows up all over again, with peasant parents. When her memory is restored, she regrets having acted so mean and rotten in the beginning.

The same is used in GARFIELD'S PET FORCE.

My writing roll lasted into the next bookl, and then I began a slow slide that ended in total burn-out. I now wind up just turning out summaries and the muse is gone away.

I didn't see it till it was on DVD. The alien invasion scenes woulda looked cool in a theeter though.

The funny thing about Foxy's original design is she is almost shaped like a sharp sausage or something. Her head and torso are one piece so she has no neck at all. Though saying that puts the image of some character transformed into a sausage which I find hilarious

This one is probably the favourite of your Foxy drawings, since it's her as she normally appears, in her cute regular clothes. No shark teeth, but she's still got a sweet smile that looks very honest here. The school bully wearing the mask of the town darling, and yet she is a darling inside. She's so pleasantly plump with the little pigtail. *huggles Foxy* <3 <3 <3

Yes, her plumpness is very enderaing. I couldn't quite get the 'no neck' look; in the movie she's practically a little fox sausage!

I watched the film again a little while ago and edited together all the Foxy bits. She really is in it for a disappointingly short time! And they hardly DO anything with her! I really would have liked to see her reconcile with Chicken and Abby instead of just getting mindfucked.

Agreed. it would have been even funnier if after all of what happened once she came to terms with Chicken Little & friends, she STILL ended up with runt!

The whole brainwashing thing really disturbed me, I mean Runt panics when he thinks someone's been 'mind wiped' but for Foxy? Hey everything turned out alright! What a lesson for children!
