Simple doodle I did a while ago of Yevi looking cute and relaxing with a cup of coffee.

So something I'm going to start doing is posting random sketches. I also would like to make some sort of daily sketch commission plan where I just take one a day a few days a week to form a habit out of it. I figure that doing cheapo 10 dollar sketches would be good and something I can guarantee a speedy production for.

Will probably be something similar to this. Granted, I did do a little bit of digital work to this, but the goal is to have a routine that's easy for me to do on paper, since I can work on paper quickly, but digital takes me a long time because I really need to upgrade my tablet situation. I'll probably treat each of the sketches with some digital work like this, but the focus is minimal digital until I save up a side fund for a new tablet.

Part of my issue with sketches in the past is how self-conscious I've been with them. I always seem to hate my sketches, and always want to fully flesh out every little thing I do... otherwise I hate it. And I always look at other folks sketches and think they look great. Many of my sketches end up unfinished and 99% of them never see the light of day. This is a habit that needs to stop.

With all of that said. I'll be diggin up some of the sketches from a whenever ago that I think are nice enough to post and I'm going to get into the habit of doing at least one new sketch every day, even if only a 20 minute doodle.

and like mentioned I wanna start a commission routine out of these as well, probably at something like $10 a character in the piece, and just one slot a day, maybe like 5 a week. I'd like to schedule this. Will see.
