Huh, what's that over there? A series of fireworks? A plane with a banner? Hm. Oh look these micros are giving me a cake. What's going on?
"Hey, hey Manny!" yelled the small crowd from the nearby skyscraper rooftop.
"Oh hi, what's up?"
"We got you something very nice for today, and big and delicious and all sorts of fun." the crowd giggled happily.
"Let's have a look" Manny looked a little blankly, before opening his eyes widely and looking at the giant cake in front of him. "Oh, for me?! Thank you!"
This piece was drawn as a birthday gift for me last year, 2016 by my wonderful friend
sillywerwolf. This sweet demon-coon is one amazing person, and I know I say that about a lot of people whenever I post something new. But the thing about him is that despite all of the adversity, despite everything that is bringing him down and hurting him, he always manages to pick himself up with a smile, and keeps going because he can. Despite all of that, he still always needs someone to listen to him and talk to him because while there are bad things around him, he needs a little push to get him along. And the thing about him is he has done the same for me time and time again, by putting his time aside to listen to me, talk to me whenever I have a problem that is really bringing me down, and he's also a bit of a meme master. I can honestly tell you he is one really, really good person who will do anything he can to make sure others are happy. And I always want to give back more to him, especially due to the great things he has created both in terms of art and story tellings, as well as how much he goes out of his way to make others happy. There's a lot more that I can say about him, but I think it's best you go and try talk to him yourself. He certainly knows how to cheer anyone up after a few minutes.
I really like this piece because of how calming it is. It gives a sense of wonder but also a bit of power too. The other thing is the way mybud draws fur, with fluff and muscle all roiling into one, it makes it look fantastic.
