Nightrunners was a series from MU press.

It got at least one story out, but I do not recall any more.

That one was in the WILD KINGDOM anthology, I believe.

I believe the art for this pin was actually drawn by Mike Raabe, rather than Tom.

Also, now that I think on it, the Nightrunners characters appeared in a Demi the demoness anthology comic by S. Crompton.

The questionable benefit of having been around forever, and been in damn near every fanzine, back in the day....

ANd a better memory than mine. I thought I recognized it, but my rusty steel trap memory came up with Tygger Graf.

Hm, I was at the convention where the original artwork for the pin project was being handled and discussed at the Mu press table.

Don't ask me which convention though, because that much I cannot remember.

However, it is probably why I remember the details.

I remember this, too..., in fact, I think I might actually have the pin somewhere. I remember a story appeared in either an MU Press or Radiocomix publication. I seem to recall that the Nightrunners were an all-female feline military unit, operating one-man 'mecha' combat machines, and that the story was an R- or X-rated 'sex in the cockpit' comic that involved them spying on and defeating in combat exercises a rival all-male unit.
