KJ's 1/2 hour sketch a day challenge day 24
A new thing I've decided to do to warm up every day. I give myself a time limit of 1/2 an hour and draw whatever pops into my head and do as much as I possibly can in that span of time.
I'll be trying different things to try and make more complete drawings in the given time allotted.
Today's effort: It's true. So true. I would love to get more fitness wear so I don't have to re-wear my stanky 'just air it out because I don't wanna do laundry today' but at the moment, dirt poor. Sigh.
Rules for KJ's 1/2 hour sketch a day challenge:
1) The figure must be complete. No missing limbs.
2) No references. Imagined poses only. (EDIT: Unless you're doing a still-life or non-figure pose, then references are OK. I don't expect people to instantly remember what flowers or plants look like. The point of not using refs is to examine your work after you finish and see what you need to improve on next time. Remember, there's always tomorrow, don't stress out over it, just try and keep it in mind when you try again.)
3) After 1/2 an hour, unless the drawing is interrupted by RL, the work will be posted, even if it sucks and is embarrassing. This is a journey to continue improving as an artist, and I find that consistent posting to the public is a fantastic motivator to improve, because who wants to embarrass themselves, right?
