Yet another of the Demons from Gil's and Odon's mythos, this time Mephistopholies in a very non-traditional form.

In this mythos, it is the Lord of Blight. This image was inspired by the angler fish with the glowing lures to attract prey. In this case, the "lures" are the two human figures which, if you look carefully, are attached to the pods by thin, clear tendrils. They are part of the demon, lures to bring unsuspecting humans into its reach.

The demon is, collectively, all of those pods. It slowly takes over some land, spreading its blight, until, if it remains unchecked, inhabits the entire world, killing everyone it encounters.
