This is a continuation of my Story. I had to use a different logo to separate it into four parts. This is part two and this is were most of the action takes place. The tournament has officially begun and everyone was excited to compete to win the Gunpla Builder Cup. ENJOY READING.
PS: I do not own any of the characters in the story and that i do not own Gundam or its franchise. This is just a fan story so please don't sue me Also, All Art and Gunpla custom photos are owned by their owners and that i will change many titles to avoid copyright.
EPISODE 6: AT LAST, THE ROAD TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP BEGINS!!
The Streets are just full of people now. Perhaps of excitement for action, Or that they come to cheer for their favorite battler. Maybe its because most of them are fans themselves. No matter what the reason one thing is clear.Yes, This is the atmosphere of the Gunpla Builders Cup Qualifier. Everyone was surely to attend this awesome Tournament as it finally begins.
Sven was the first to arrive at the registration booth. He had come a long way from his house at the digi world to make it here. But it seems he could not find any of his friends probably because they already registered before him. But he was confident that he will meet them when he gets inside. While waiting However, He came across a white lion Wearing strange clothes he has never seen before. He was wearing glasses and somehow had a Haro ball for a companion. Sven decided to meet this lion kid and get to know him better.
"Hi there. I'm Sven. Are you here for the tournament?"
"Yeah. My name is Leo. My Haro ball here is Isa. Great to meet you"
All Friends of Leo Is a friend of mine HARO.
"Wow. Your just the cutest thing ever!"
"Well, I'm glad you like it. Say, Are you a new comer to this tournament?"
"Yeah. I'm not into big tournaments like this"
"Well I wish you good luck out there"
"You too"
Leo then went into the registration booth to sign up. Sven then knew it was his turn and filled in the necessary information in the registration sheet. Once he was done, He scanned his gunpla into a weird machine and passed his info sheet to the Registrar in charge. He then grabbed his bot from the machine and proceeded inside. The Registrar then gave Sven his G base which contained everything from his name to his Robot's name.
"Now, Rememeber. This is your pass to the entire tournament. just present to any of the stalls inside and you can get it for free. Just don't lose it Ok?"
Sven nodded and proceeded inside where to his surprise, All of his friends were waiting Including minnow. Sven was so happy to see to see them all and wanted to know how they all prepared for this event. But they decided to keep it hush as Mika Leoness is about to start the tournament.
"Ladies and gentlemen. Boys, Girls and creatures of all ages. Are you Ready For Gunpla?!? Then I welcome you all to the Gunpla Builders Cup Qualifier!! I'm your commentator and announcer for this tournament Mika Leoness and joining me on the commentator booth is non other than Ion cross. Today, You will witness 64 of the best gunpla competitors from around the world and beyond to battle it out at a chance of qualifying for round 2. But we are only looking for 32 Of the best among the rest so I welcome you all and enjoy the show!!"
The crowd began to cheer on as Mika stepped down from the stage and the 64 competitors approached the stage. Guilmon and veemon managed to wave at the crowd a little bit while the rest of the competitors kept quiet.
Finally the first battles are about to begin with Guilmon facing off against Titan, Raier against Storm, Bonnie against Angel and Minnow against kai. Sven was a little nervous when it came to his turn to battle though. He was not sure if he was going to make it. But he had high hopes of making it to the end and kept his cool. The first battles have all ended with Guilmon beating titan with his signature Dragon Punch, Minnow winning against Kai which had no intention on giving a fair fight. Raier and Bonnie also made it winning their battles as well. Then it was time for wave two with Fuse, Leo, Ember and Sven. This was where he got too nervous.
"Hey, Don't think about your failures. Think about winning this. You can do it" Leo encouraged Sven.
Sven smiled and regained his confidence where he faced of Kolossus. This was the same guy who bullied Minnow a lot and wanted him next. Sven could not forgive him and decided to teach him a lesson. The two then prepared their bots for combat.
"Kolossus. Zeta Gundam Gugnir!"
"Sven. Gundam Age 02 Strider!"
And with the launch sequence activated, The two began their battle in the space arena. Everyone cheered as the 2nd wave of competitors proved their worth and skills. Fuse managed to finish his battle with him winning of course and had a shot at the 2nd round. Also through are Leo and Ember but it seemed that Sven might be having a little bit of trouble with his battle. Kolossus' Gunpla was just too strong for him. As Kolossus went in for the finishing blow, Sven noticed his Gundam glowing blue. In fact, He did not know this was in the instructions when he first got it. The Age Strider then revealed a new form known only as RE:BIRTH FORM. With this new power Sven immediately had the opportunity to gain the upper hand and with a few attacks connecting, The strider made his comeback. Everyone cheered including Minnow who was watching the fight at the side lines with the other competitors. Sven then unleashed the strider's ultimate move, The Superior Blast attack and instantly obliterated Kolossus. The match was over and Sven had won. He celebrated with joy as Sven waved to the crowd full of happiness that he won his first Tournament battle. It was then Kolossus stood up and approached Sven who was still celebrating.
"Hey Man. I'm sorry if I bullied your Friend. can you ever forgive me? I promise to be good"
"You Sure?" Sven asked him knowing that he will try to bully him since he won.
"YES. Yes I will in fact, Here I want you to have this" Kolossus then Gave Sven What appears to be a new robot called Neo Granzon. It was a bot he got from winning a spar match with his buddy.
"You know what. Apology accepted. I can Forgive you now. And thanks for the new buddy Bot. You truly know how to cheer a Friend up do ya."
Sven then headed to join his friends when Kolossus said Good luck to him. Knowing that he had a change of heart really warmed Sven up and in reply, He wished Kolossus Good luck as well.
More and more competitors come and go as the tournament progressed. Joining in to the 32 are RU, Meiccomon and Klonoa who all had rough battles.
At last, The 1st round of the qualifier was over and the remaining 32 competitors were pretty much proud of themselves and each other for they have made it to the 2nd round. But what lies ahead for these competitors.Find out Soon.
