This is a continuation of my Story. I had to use a different logo to separate it into four parts. This is part two and this is were most of the action takes place. The tournament has officially begun and everyone was excited to compete to win the Gunpla Builder Cup. ENJOY READING.
PS: I do not own any of the characters in the story and that i do not own Gundam or its franchise. This is just a fan story so please don't sue me Also, All Art and Gunpla custom photos are owned by their owners and that i will change many titles to avoid copyright.
EPISODE 7: A RIDICULOUS BATTLE! THE RANDOM WEAPON CHALLENGE
a new day has arisen for our competitors and the crowd is on their feet rushing in to the stadium to witness more of the action. Guilmon, Who was really happy with the results of the 1st round congratulated everyone who made it this far. Raier, Minnow, Sven, Meicoomon, RU, Darkie, Bonnie, Fuse, Ember,Leo and even Veemon. He then gave a word of advise to all of these kids. "No matter What happens today, Remember that you competed to win and have fun. Let's do our best today!" Everyone cheered as they headed up to the backstage to prepare for battle when they were greeted by Lord Romulus who happens to have a new competitor with him.
"I've seen the results of the 1st round and it looks like one of the competitors had to be disqualified because of illegal tactics. In his place I would like to welcome the newest Competitor of your bunch"
Romulus then turned to the cubone right next to him. He was a bit shy but Sven was smiling for some reason, As if he knew this cubone. He was so eager to hug him but he manage to keep his cool.
Soon the cubone manage to regain his confidence and wanted to introduce himself now.
"Hello Everyone. My name is Toto. Its a pleasure to be here with you all'
Everyone greeted Toto as their new friend welcoming him to the group. Before He can say thanks though, Toto was surprised when Sven tackled him Knocking him off the ground. Sven then Hugged his long time companion and Toto responded with a hug of his own. Soon he met up with the other competitors Sven made friends with. Toto was impressed by how far Sven made friends this easily. No wonder why He was famous in and out of his world. By the time The group finished chit chattering, Romulus went on his way
"A reminder to you all, You will not be using your Gunpla's desired weapons. Instead you will use the weapons provided to you in this round. Good luck to you all" Everyone got pumped up and headed to the stage to get their match started.
By the time they got there, Mika was already upstage greeting the crowd. The 2nd phase of the tournament has officially begun.
"Welcome to the 2nd part of the gunpla builders cup qualifier. today 32 competitors survived the grueling 1st half but now we need to get them down to size to at least 20. And what better way to do that than with a challenge round. In this challenge, Our competitors will have to fight with weapons our manager Romulus himself picked for each match. Better adapt or you will be sent home. Good Luck to all of you today"
With the crowd cheering and the stadiums set. The 2nd phase of the tournament begins.
Going up first were Guilmon, Raier, Bonnie and Ember. Guilmon managed to wield strange ball like objects that eject an EMP Pulse in one way and then Explode in the other. Guilmon ecided to call these Pulse Exploding Balls and he used each part of it wisely. Durning his match he managed to disable the enemy with the EMP and then coming up close with the Exploding part to finish it off. Guilmon won his match with an epic finishing move to booth. Next battle, Raier Weilded a metal staff as his weapon for his bot. "COOL" He said once acquired. He then amazed everyone including his opponent in just how skilled he was with it and completely disarmed his opponent. He then used a counter Once his enemy went in for a punch and then landed a finisher move to win the match. Next up, Bonnie managed to use her weapons effectively as she pinned down her foe with quick pistols that only take in 6 shots But it was enough to land her a spot in the next round. Ember Also made it to the next round as well with her weapons being A sword and shield.
The next wave proved to be more amazing as Fuse, Minnow, Quetzal and Meicoomon took their turn to win. Fuse had to go around with a Machine gun as his weapon and instead of going pew pew all the way, He managed to beat his opposition with bullets to spare "I wonder if Romulus is letting me keep this" Fuse thought after the match. Minnow also managed to beat his enemy using only a paint brush. "Really? Just because I'm cute doesn't mean i have to wield a paint brush" Minnow commented. Quetzal aand Meicoomon also made it to the next round with smiles on their faces.
Finally, It was Sven's turn to play as well as Klonoa, Leo, and Darkie. Neo Cortez also came in to play. Sven's opponent was a Tracer cosplayer who had a keen eye at winning. Sven knew she was good as she had tonfas as her weapon while he wielded A short katana. Sven had no clue on how to use Melee weapons on robots but then he remembered his training with Sol who thought him self defense and used it to counter and finish the match so effortlessly. Sven then congratulated his opposition and left with the others who have just finished their battles.
Finally, Toto and RU were the last ones to make it to the next round along with 5 extra competitors. At last the 20 Competitors have finally been chosen. Before the end of the Qualifier round, Lord Romulus Gave his speech to the remaining 20 who had made it so far.
"Congratulations on making it to the next stage. I'm really impressed by how you managed to prepare for this. Perhaps The term Gunpla is freedom has been passed on to you guys. Anyway, The next destination for the Tournament is in Ikebukuro, The sunshine City. I Cant wait to meet you there. And as a treat, Dragon Fire will be special Guests to the tournament. They will be expecting you guys soon so you better put up a show. Then again, Good luck to you all"
With a approval from all the competitors and a loud cheer from the crowd, The qualifier is finally over. Next stop Sunshine city for the all time Semi Final round. And you will be there to see it.
