This is a continuation of my Story. I had to use a different logo to separate it into four parts. This is part two and this is were most of the action takes place. The tournament has officially begun and everyone was excited to compete to win the Gunpla Builder Cup. ENJOY READING.
PS: I do not own any of the characters in the story and that i do not own Gundam or its franchise. This is just a fan story so please don't sue me Also, All Art and Gunpla custom photos are owned by their owners and that i will change many titles to avoid copyright.
EPISODE 9: THE BATTLE RAGES ON. THE FIGHT FOR THE FINAL 10.
Before I begin this episode, I don't want this episode to be long to read. But anyway, In the first round of competition, The first 10 competitors Fought it out with all their skills put to the test. Guilmon's opponent was veemon who had anticipated something like this for a very long time. Their battle was legendary but in the end, Guilmon won victorious catching the eyes of Dragon fire as they look on. He made it to the 1st spots in the 10 along with RU, , Meicoomon and Leo. These five have made it but now it was time for the 2nd round for the last 5 spots. Let's get ready to Rumble:
Sven approached the arena as he was the next to fight in the tournament. His opponent was non other than Klonoa, The dream wonder. The crowd wowed in awe as these warriors meet up for the first time.
"Hi there little dragon. I'm klonoa great to meet you" Klonoa said introducing himself before battle.
"I'm Sven. Let's have a great match today" Sven replied.
The two nodded and proceeded to their stations. The battle preparations are now complete and the stage is set. Battlers, SET YOUR GUNPLA!!upon these words Sven placed down his Age 02 strider while Klonoa got his gunpla ready to go. It was time to battle.
SVEN: GUNDAM AGE 02 STRIDER!!
KLONOA: GUSION HIBAKE!!
as the warriors launch and mobilize, the crowd instantly cheered on as the 2nd round of competition begins. Meanwhile at the VIP Booth, Dragon Fire was a little too occupied with their own match as the team is busy Playing Gundam Breaker 2 on their PS Vita. Lord Romulus however looked on at the tournament as it begins, Seeing the excitement that these battlers have in store.
"You know, you could have more fun if you just looked at this match for once" Romulus told the team. Then everyone decided to drop the Gadgets and watch the event while leaving those PS Vitas to charge.
"Wow. This match is gonna be great" Guilmon commented seeing the excitement that's going to happen soon.
Meanwhile the action is getting intense as the battles rage on. Minnow VS Toto, Darkie VS Bonnie, Fuse VS Ember, Raier VS Quetzal and Dorumon VS Mercy. The Battles were gonna be amazing to see.
Bonnie charged in with a missile barrage but The strike noir D did not let up and instantly dodged it. The strike noir then attempted to counter but was surprised when the Kshatriya was right in front of it. However when the Kshatriya went in for the kill it was all a trick and the strike noir attacked from behind Disabling one of the Kshatriya's arms. Bonnie looked helpless but she did not give up and went for another attack this time with its twin short cannons. The strike noir dodged it easily but was overwhelmed when Darkie thought it was all too easy and before he knew it was too late, The Kshatriya went in for an all out barrage and ended the fight. Bonnie won and was proud of her victory but she also thanked Darkie for a good match and the two shook hands.
Else where Toto and Minnow went back and forth with their battle, Their hearts all connected to face Sven in the final round made the match so amazing that the crowd was already up on their feet. The battle could go on forever. Minnow then thought it was time to get serious and so he unleashed the Ginga Gazer's ultimate God Form. With it, Minnow completely swept the match clean as he finished off the RJ paladinia with right and left hooks but the Paladinia did not flinch and went in for a miracle counter which worked seeing that their bots are already at critical power but Minnow had the upper hand and with His Signature Ginga Thunder Bolt, The ginga gazer ended the RJ paladinia. Minnow celebrated in his victory but soon went to Toto and thanked him for the awesome match.
"Wow. I never Thought you were this strong" Minnow said to Toto.
"You too. Say, After the tournament could you teach me how to pilot like that?"
"Will do. And maybe we can play with Sven sometime too"
The two then went on their way and minnow got to join his mates in the Final 10.
Raier was having a little trouble with his match as his opponent proved more of a challenge for him. Quetzal was just moving too quick for Raier to spot. But with a little patience and a 5 second reaction time, Raier managed to bring down the Wing gundam QS and capitalize. He then unleashed the Shining's ultimate attack The Shining Finger Sword and instantly destroyed Quetzal's robot. Raier was victorious and wanted to celebrate but wanted to cheer up Quetzal who was crying in the distance.
"Its okay Quetzal.You'll get your chance someday" Raier told the crying dragon.
Quetzal cheered up and thanked his new friend. He then flew off into the sky probably going to tell his parents about his experience.
Fuse had the similar outcome when he overthrew Ember in a samurai style ending with a Amateratsu slash. Ember thanked her opposition and went off as well. Fuse was kinda blushy when ember kissed him in the cheek before she left.
Meanwhile, Sven and klonoa are still going at it trading blows with their hard core bots. The crowd was electrified at the sight of this awesome battle and cheered like never before. It wasn't long before the two got tired from their epic battle.
"Wow Little dragon. You're good" Klonoa said to his opposition.
"Heheh. You too" Sven replied and the two continued their battle. The Age strider Attacks with one of its beam sabers but was caught by the Gusion's massive arms. Gusion Hibake then showed no mercy as it threw the strider around like a ragdoll Before throwing it to a boulder. It then open fired with its gatling gun and proceeded to finish off the strider. All seemed lost for Sven until a surge of power started to flow inside the strider. To Klonoa's surprise, The strider's somehow managed to stop the bullets in thin air before every bullet is propelled back at the Gusion. Soon, The strider revealed its ultimate REBIRTH Form and with this power Sven managed to capitalize. The strider then revealed a secret weapon unknown to Sven until now, A Mega Beam Sword. He then aimed the sword at the Gusion.
"THIS IS FOR MY FRIENDS, SOL, YAMI AND EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES IN ME. I WILL NOT LOSE!" Sven shouted and raised the sword high up ready to strike.
"HERE I GO. ULTIMATE STRIDER SLASH!!" And with one huge thrust, the strider swings his blade. The Gusion managed to block he attack since it was built to wit stand high Mega beams but even with its durability, The strider managed to cut through the Gusion ending the match. Sven could not believe what happened afterwards. He just won the elimination round and won a spot at the semi finals.
"I won? I WON!!!" Sven shouted Celebrating. It was the best experience he ever had. He did wish Sol and Yami saw this but he did not care for as long as his friends saw it, He was happy.
"Wahoo I must say. That was the best match I ever had" Klonoa said congratulating Sven on his victory.
"Really? Thanks!! I really liked every second of it. Let's battle again sometime" Sven said in response. The two then shook hands exchanging a smile along the way. Sven then waved goodbye to his friend and moved on to see his other friends who made it.
At last, The final 10 had arrived. The crowd cheered on as the competitors stood up looking proud over what they had proven today. Dragon Fire also gave a round of applause as each of these battles have proven to be entertaining for them. Before this event came to a close, Romulus had a speech planned for the occasion.
" To all the competitors who had made it here this far, Congratulations. You are on your way to becoming the greatest Gunpla builder this world has ever seen. However, your journey is not over yet. Your next battle is even harder as now you have to battle each other in the Semi final and final round in Okinawa. Only then will one of you acclaim victory. Good luck to all of you and I hope to see you soon"
With Romulus' speech finished the crowd applaud and the competitors got pumped for the ultimate battle. It was time to determine who among them is truly the best Gunpla builder in the world.
