At last, We have to the final 5 competitors who have all fought hard in order to make it here. With the crowd cheering and the spotlights blooming with colors, This is surely a sight you cannot miss. So ladies and gents, Are you ready to read the epic climax to this awesome story? If so, Read on and enjoy the awesomeness. Let the Finals Begin!!
PS: I do not own any of the characters in the story and that i do not own Gundam or its franchise. This is just a fan story so please don't sue me Also, All Art and Gunpla custom photos are owned by their owners and that i will change many titles to avoid copyright. Then again, enjoy:
EPISODE 16: PLANS
The weeks for preparation have finally began and the finalists have began prepping their bots for the epic final showdown. Let us see what our Finalists prepared for in order to win:
FINALIST 1: GUILMON
Guilmon has been invited to play with veemon for at least one week as Vee's caretaker will be off on holiday. As they were chatting and playing around with vee's toys, They realize that Guilmon needs to prepare for the battle ahead when they heard a knock on the door.
"Umm, Is this Veemon's place? I know its just here on this block somewhere" Questioned a yellow dino digimon.
"Why yes. you come to the right place" Veemon said in reply.
"Thank goodness. I thought i was lost for a minute there. I'm agumon Great to meet you both"
"My name is Guilmon. I'm one of the finalists for the tournament. And this is veemon. Why did you come here?"
"Well, Seeing that you two need help in preparation for the big tournament I'm here to give you a few tips or two. That is if you would let me in"
"That's and all but.."
"Wait!! You're a gunpla expert right?"
"Well, A fan of it yes. But I always to help out folks like you when they need it the most"
"Sounds Great!! Welcome aboard"
Agumon then went inside to see what they have come up with. He notice a lightning Gundam and a kamiki Burning custom on the table. Realizing that they have interesting designs, Agumon gives his thumbs of approval just to let them know. He then places his Winning gundam into the fray and notices a pattern of awesome bots.
"Is this what I think it is?" The two dragons mons gasped.
"Yep. Try fighters. Well a custom version of it but its still there"
Guil and Vee were amazed at the sight. Its just marvelous to see three iconic robots facing side by side together asif they were a team. This just sparked Veemon head as he finally had an idea into mind
"Say Agumon, Would you want to be part of the team? We could use a third party member?" Veemon asked
"Me join you? Why it would be Honor. I can't wait to support you two" Agumon said excited
"Then congrats buddy. You made it to the Guilmon squad!!"
And with that the three mons begin playing and prepping their bots for whatever it is they will overcome. Nothing will prepare you when TEAM TRY FIRE DRAGONS Emerges.
FINALIST 2 SVEN:
Sven has been busy planning a get away trip after the tournament with Sol. But as it turns out he invited a few of his buddies alog to join him. Their destination: Singapore and they will staying there for at least 7 weeks before they depart once again. Once he has finished the invitations for all of his friends, He then proceeded to Improving the AGE 09 Celestial that He ad Sol built. But there was one problem. It was only 50% complete, The rest of its body is not perfect, Its missing a few parts and somehow someway it keeps falling apart. Sven was already crying knowing that he will not make it to the tournament but Sol always made sure that he will find a way to make it right but it seems that it wont work at all. Just as they were losing hope though, The door bell rang and To their surprise,Minnow and Toto were back. Sven could not believe it and Hugged them both with tears streaming down his face worried that he will ever see them again. Ray and Nervo also joined in to say hello and just as before Sol could asked what they were doing here, They replied that they will help them get ready for the tournament. This was exactly what he needed to complete the AGE 09 Celestial and together they built the mobile suit entirely from scratch following the blue print that Sol made and after five hours of non stop building and a little bit of playtime it was almost done. They were just missing a few bits.
"Well, She's beautiful ain't she?" Sol asked Sven.
"Yeah. I can't wait to test it out"
"But there is one thing that bothers me" Compliments Ray. "Where are we going to find the EX Drive skill this thing needs?"
Everyone began to look around the house but to no avail. Just then, Toto pointed at the AGE 02 Victory strider. He knows that it had something special that it managed to make it to the grand finals. And sure enough, As the group began to disassemble it, The EX Drive was hidden inside it this whole time.
"Well, That's convenient. No wonder why it had little damage" Minnow said.
"Well, This is the final piece. I hope this works"
As sol placed the Ex drive into the gunpla, they were finally relieved that they had completed the Gunpla in time for the tournament. Everyone celebrated but somehow, Sven felt sad. Sol asked what was wrong and he replied that he's not sure if he could make it all the way. See, Sven is always nervous when it comes to big Contests like this but Sol managed to calm the little dragons sad pace and made him happy again. Soon everyone decided to have dinner at a local fast food chain outside. A perfect way to finish a good accomplishment.
FINALIST 3 BONNIE:
Bonnie usually had time to spend with. She and Meicoomon have just finished building the Qan B Gundam and now she is feeling a bit bored. But she did the next best thing as to have a girly sleepover party with Angel, Meicoomon, Gatomon and A few more of her other friends to play along before the tournament.
FINALIST 4 RUDRAGON:
Ru has began working on his latest commission for his community while trying to focus on what to build for the Tournament. turns out he stumbled on a very familiar segment on the Zeon mobile suits. He found out about the Sazabi from Mako and wanted to search about it. He soon found many different Combinations and wanted to build one of his own. So after his commission, He went to his local toy store and bought the dream Gunpla he really wanted to build. Soon after giving it A sick Hot pink paint job and a New array of weapons, All that RU needed now is a name which he called it the Sazabi GT. Finally he was confident that he will win the tournament and together with mako, He went to Akihabara.
FINALIST 5 DORUMON:
The purple comet decided to hit up a concert just for the finalists once they arrive. Soon after jamming to a few hits and a spectacular show, All the finalists came over and he wanted to thank them for all the constant support they had given so he decides to play his signature hit just for them. After his epic show, He invited all the finalists to his house for Pizza and a movie they will never forget.
The following week came and it was time for the tournament. All the competitors were ready and headed to the Tokyo anime center where the tournament is about to begin.
