A casualty of King George's War (1744 - 1748), one of the French and Indian Wars.
The stone speaks of Capt. John Tallcott of (either Canterbury or Glastonbury) in Connecticut but doesn't seem to mention "Midleton in Conect" at all. Could there be two men named John Talcott/Tallcott?
