This is a higher-res page from our 'To Catch a Demon' side-comic, depicting a couple of times Jakob tried to find a partner.

The artwork was done by
merlin-the-bruce with some edits by me, for example: adding shine to the leather and Jakob's pants in the first row and giving the bikers gauntlets... I'm still not sure if I should have left them as-is with the gloves off.
That can easily be fixed if necessary.
I haven't done a side-by-side comparison but I probably could if there's enough interest.

I've read good sir. Much like how the world seems to never let Germany forget their past transgressions despite all they've done to make amends,
the cubi race is labeled as murderers monsters, and ilk of all types. If met young and learning at heart, a child grows up with no prejudice.
A soul saved by one, might find them self wondering if they're not all bad.
Me, I've seen good and bad while in Iraq, I can't condemn a nation for their leaders. Just as I can't stand my own nations labeling all Muslims as evil
Cubi's with those powerful wings would be incredible in many situations, mechanics, builders, mortal means would be trivial and a friend who could
double as a safety net? Not to mention, a lover would ensure life was never boring. Though it'd be short lived, if mortal. A sad thing for an immortal
or incredibly long lived
