Oh man need more proof Laika is awesome? Friends of the family were losing their little grandson to cancer, and he mentioned that he wanted to see Boxtrolls when it would be out in the theaters. Laika flew a copy down to him for an advance screening, plus lots of cool studio swag, as gifts. Amazing.

that's amazing but honestly i'm not surprised. laika is the most generous company i've ever seen. to a lesser extent my bff went to their exhibition at comicon yesterday and they gave her a staff t-shirt because she was crying (it was out of love for everything she was seeing but still lol)
