Aw, well this is a lovely comic. I really like the note of hope at the end, that maybe she's finally met someone who understands and can see the beauty in her. Though you really do have to feel for her in those first few panels. Especially knowing how often that sort of thing really does happen. I like the transition from pure line-art to color as the story progresses, further emphasizing the sense of hope at the end. The blue sky and white clouds breaking through the grey clouds in the final panel are a nice touch as well, I think. It makes for a really powerful piece overall, and I really enjoy the art you post like this. It's nice to see a piece that can make you really feel something now and then.
