That show got so many kids interested in engineering and aerospace and the like way back when. The new Thunderbirds Are Go show is pretty good, though it doesn't make up for the Captain Scarlet reboot being cancelled so soon. Not to mention the Frakes abomination.
Though the Fleetway comic strips (both Thunderbirds and Stingray) were even better than the official TV shows.
