Just want to say, I think this comic has been wonderful so far, and really showcases your chops as an artist. Thanks for the plethora of content you've made for the community- and I hope you expand your efforts into realms beyond the scope of furry-dom. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing your style on mainstream shelves someday.
Is the content in my gallery that much of a red flag for you to think the same of my comic? why also would it also be taken less serious because of the chance of there being a transformation? I'm happy you at least find my work interesting, but I find it odd that this flash back caused you to not take my comic as serious.
I'm still enjoying the comic regardless I just find the idea redundant, that's all, it is just matter of taste, again I would have prefer Battu as original alien with her own home and backstory instead of a male human kid who got a mutation and a change of sex, I don't see how that improve the character or make it interesting specially the later, unless you are a furry with TF fetish, which seen a bit silly but each their own.
sorry if I make your upset or something I'm just disapointed,my apologise...

On page 20, it says in that second panel, "previous incarnation." That fact, together with the fact that Battu is recounting all of this to the therapist in the prison, would imply that she is telling a story about her life before she was incarnated as what she is now--the blue rat-looking creature. I hope that helps. ^^
Simply put:
- Sentai is what Power Rangers came from.
- Tokusatsu is Kamen Rider, which is the 'more adult' (but pretty much just as dumb) sister series of Sentai.
- The two crossover a lot.
- Kamen Rider Gaim and Ex-Aid are the best two Kamen Riders, imo, and Gaim is crazy. Both are crazy. Watch them.

So now that this comic has finally finished the second volume I can post some theories and speculations I've had since I bought and read it.
The first thing I learned was that Battu is claustrophobic. This could either be the result of the phobia being carried over by the human incarnation via genetic memory or it was developed during the experimentation, which would mean Battu was confined to small spaces during said experiments. Likely a cage or a small room, like how "the pit" was. The experiments also explain the fragmented and unclear memory or dreams Battu has been having. Again, genetic memory but it's incomplete.
The second thing I learned is more in regards to the human incarnation of Battu. He (at that time) had lived in a technologically advanced village with his parents who were scientists. A HIGHLY intelligent family. The fact that human Battu created a flying drone out of scrap WHILE ESSENTIALLY BEING BLIND and his parents had discovered a rare species (Sugarian) from a fur fiber DNA sample is evidence to this.
The third is while the attack left both his parents dead, it's not clear how they acquired the sample or samples of the Sugarian species that they used in the experiment. What's just as interesting is we saw the attack but we didn't see the damages or what was left in its wake. It leaves open the possibility that the flying camera drone Battu had built could be still intact enough for to provide more answers for her.
The trauma from the attack would also explain more why Battu reacted so violently when the Prince she was hunting asked her about her family. Of course, most of this is just speculation but I don't think it's uneducated.
Either LOVED the comic and I can't wait to see what happens in volume 3!

I just want to take the time to say that I really do like your art, and I first found your stuff because I really liked your sequence pictures, and your fat fur drawings are absolutely beautiful! And the fact that you are making this comic is amazing. I have a story of my own that I am planning to tell via indie game design, but before I decided on that I attempted to make my stories in the forms of novels & comics, and I know for a fact that storytelling in any way shape or form is never easy. I know this is a bit much, but as a fan of your art, I'd just like to say: congratulations on your progress so far. And battu has turned out to be a great character so far. Keep up the awesome work.
