I have wanted to show people the scenery where I live for quite a while, so while I was sitting down getting my head together, I took a couple of snaps with my phone.

Not my greatest snaps, but I'm used to an SLR, not a phone camera!


If any of you were unfortunate enough to watch the US "Survivor in the Outback," it was filmed less than 1km from here. (And you can't tell by looking at the complete lack of waves, but it was one of my favourite places to body board when I was younger.)

It was also a bit of a surprise that some sun came out, since it's winter right now!
