For the life of me, I can't make my images have enough dynamic range. Everything is always so close to middle grey. I guess it's just the fact that both of the characters are black, but still, something always feels off about my shading.

HAH! The very first thought I had when I read that was seeing him poking his head out the top of the backpack between the zippers and giving someone the two fingered "I'm watching you" gesture to someone as they're just casually walking behind you. Of course, it'd use two legs instead of two fingers. XP
