Let the sun shine...a pure WOW Moment!
Looking over my cameras and the shots I took, sadly the one where it went Umbra, I slightly moved, throwing off the wanted image.
Then I found this and went "WOW!!"
Again, this was a literal highlight, a Bucket list item now removed. Seeing a total eclipse and the circle of fire.
S0C0M_3 and I were just giddy seeing this with the naked eye , and despite the back logged return trip home and the stupidity of the State of Illinois Department of Transportation , especially along the 57.
But still....wow!!

A couple of pictures did survive...awesome and yes major stupidity to IDOT for not pausing the work, patch the major blemishes in the road and opening up the lanes until the event and traffic were over then repairing any problems before continuing with the road resurfacing. Total cluster fuq by IDOT
