what brand of did did you get? it's supposed to smell like a campfire!

I couldn't possibly tell you a brand. Several, some brought directly from Asia. Certainly no mainstream US brands. I always think it has a very odd odor, but maybe it's just me :)

thanks, it's not really. but it's nice way to keep a pot warm and not use a bulky, and not at all zen, hot plate

While I do love coffee, it's for me a premium expresso shot two or thrice a week. but a good tea is all day every day :)
