Captain Crendel is a notorious, cocker spaniel pirate. He makes up for his small stature with boisterous ferocity, although he can be chivalrous when the need arises. He hates slavery with a passion, with most of his crew consisting of former slaves that he has freed. To the common folk he is seen as somewhat of a Robin Hood of the Sea, although the government wants him dead. He lost all sight in his left eye during a sword fight, a confrontation that left more than one scar on him.
Originally Crendel was himself a slaver, working on one of the many slave transport ships. He chose that occupation out of his love for adventure, and it was one of the most lucrative opportunities on the sea. However, something traumatic happened forcing a complete change of heart. After that he turned to a life of piracy, and trying to free as many slaves as possible. He has traveled much of my world and I have plans to include him in multiple games and stories, including Izzy's adventure, which is currently being developed.
