Here we see Teddy's mental breakdown (hence the scruched up face, Teddy is dreaming this) as it progresses… due to fearing he's regressing backwards for real the litleo finds himself getting littler and littler in his dream. Going first from kindergartner (far left), to toddler (middle), to finally a bawling infant (far right)… as his imaginary friend King Roar (seen as his plushie form with Kindergarten Teddy and taking his rightful, imaginary self a la Hobbes with the other two) tries to help reason him back from the brink. Naturally since King Roar is an imaginary character based on a beloved plushie Teddy has had since he was a baby his attempts to talk sense and rationality… kinda don't work~
If you wanna know more details though you'll need to look at the story itself =3 I've been working hard on it so I hope you'll enjoy ^,^
