The XMC models, or Extreme Measures Craft, have always been built on one specific purpose. To crush the enemy in the fewest moves possible. The first XMC ships were air-ships used in the Second War of the Gods on the Tominoseian planet of Dracicanna. That ship was called the Kohart, and it was captained by Llandash Ilkatheen who was replaced by non-other than the young Rasmota, Akra, Tomsar. Since then many improvements have been made to the overall design of this massive flagship, come the advent of FTL or Faster Than Light technology.
3 hulls of Tritanium grade S class steel- The outer hull of the ship is 3 layers thick containing a net of coolant gel that when in contact with raw vacuum becomes a crystalline solid the equivalent to steel. Not only does this make the ship near impervious, it also boosts the expected life expectancy of the ship and can serve for well over a rough estimate of 300 years given correct care.
4 types of FTL travel- Being the first experimental ship off of a soon to be long line, this ship was given the ability to use four types of FTL travel. The first and foremost of all of them is the ability for the Plasma Pulse Engines to create a ripple in subspace, allowing the ship to almost "vanish" into subspace and travel into Hyperspace without causing any physical damage to real space. The second part of the FTL drives is the ability to warp Hyperspace to travel faster, known as the warp engines. Since the ship is already in Hyperspace, using the warp engines to give the ship a boost would not cause any harm to Sub,Normal,Or Hyperspace and is often used on trade routes. Slipstream or otherwise known as "Novikan Node Travel" summons a creature that lives in an advanced form of Sub Space known as the Novikan. These Novikan transport the ship along the tunnels and fling the ship at the desired location on inertia alone, this is often remarkably fast. The last and most experimental of all is the Fold drive. Using the principles of Hyperspacial travel, the fold drive drastically takes the particles of the ship or anything around it and shrinks it down to about the size of a nano-particle and send it flying through foldspace almost immediately to it's desired location without having to move one meter.
Massive array of weapons- The XMC 2 class Starship comes with a varying array of weapons ranging from short/long range Energy Pulse cannons, Torpedo launchers, Missile Launchers, Nuclear weapons launchers, and the most devastating weapon the Particle Beam Cannon. This ship is iconic as being the first ship to mount a P.B.C and it takes a massive amount of energy to fire even once. This weapon has been noted to cleaving a perfect hole or obliterating an entire planet or on a smaller scale, wipe out a fleet of ships with one blast. This weapon however does drain the shields and leaves the ship vulnerable to an attack.
Multi-purpose Energy Shielding- The energy shielding on the ship was derived from the point-defense systems of the ancient Senex found on the Tominoseian homeworld. The ruins left behind intriguing artifacts one of which was a shield that could absorb energy and anything thrown at it. Thus the multi-purpose shields were made to block most of any forms of weapons thrown at it. Tominoseian weapons work at a different variance of energy than the shielding allowing them to pass through, and the shields can be remodulated to block any energy or weapons that pass through. However due to the task of Multi-Purpose it can only last so long against a total barrage.
Revolutionary Anti-Gravity Technology- Never before has it been heard that anything so massive could fly on Anti-Gravity to Gravity technology but thanks to the boys behind the science this ship can take off without a hitch. It can make pin-point perfect landings on planets and take off almost at a split moments notice.
Large Hangar Bays- This ship was made to not only be a large weapons platform, but also a carrier capable of launching a planet wide assault. The hangar bay is capable of launching several, if not, a whole hell of a lot of Fighters from either the side entrances or the top launchers.
Executive suites- Not only is it the perfect Battleship but it can serve as a place for diplomatic relations with several guest quarters and estates that could make a hotel roll over and die.
Advanced A.I integration- Not only is it a massive ship, but it has a personality with an A.I computer hub that runs over several decks. The A.I is often seen as the personality of the ship and often the saving grace since it can act on it's own without the captain's notice.
Thus this ship, the TFCW XMC-2 Kohart Tankata lives up to it's lineage as a superior battleship.

Nice design. But I see this too often in spacecraft designs and I have to ask: What's the point of a bridge on a spacecraft? In fact, isn't that hazardous? If it gets into combat it puts a big bullseye on the vessel. I always thought an internal control room would be more logical.
Then again, you did detail A.I., so ship navigation probably isn't something done manually. So I guess a bridge is meant just incase ship navigation needs to be done manually.

Actually the bridge has a double action, in the case that the Bridge crew cannot make it to the escape pods the bridge can be separated away from the ship. It also serves the main airlock and docking ports for the ship. But really most Bridges are made mostly for the romantic ideal. I mean if you really look at modern day ships they have a bridge for just that purpose, that and steering. Course you could always negate the hazard condition with enhanced shielding but that would go into power issues.
