Oh man uhh... just like... look at your own body when you move, look for the slight creases and how they curve around your body, then REALLY exaggerate them when you draw. And with shine, don't forget reflected light! It's really important for bringing a shiny thing to life! And paws... nice, round, squishy, BIG!
Oooh, I see what you mean, gonna have to try that out the next time I draw, I think the creases really add to the rubbery-ness.
Gotcha, and that reflected shine really does add a lot to pieces, so I see its importance here~
