ouch. Yeah, they're kinda cute, but I don't like the look of dogs with disproportionately short legs.

One of the funny things about Chaos is that he totally understands when he's told he can't have something, but he is persistent, and keeps 'asking.' So, I couldn't have the soda a few minutes ago...can I have it now? No, I'd prefer the soda to the dog toy, thanks. At least he's polite...

The 'must herd person' gene is hilarious to watch in action, from a non-dog-owning perspective.

It's pretty darn funny, but I train them not to abuse the instinct quickly, because I do not like dogs nipping my ankles. Coba still does it a little bit, but he knows that when he does it, we will go immediately to practicing down-stays (his least favorite command) or at least sits. I try to divert it when it manifests into other commands, but, well, they are still herding dogs, and they want to herd.

Pity the dog owner (I have seen it) whose dog is smarter than he is! Happens easily with Border Collies. XD

Chaos learned what 'sit' and 'down' meant after one demonstration each. Really.

Kids are always cute -- and hilarious -- when it strikes them to pretend to be grown-ups. Doubly so when the kid is a puppy.

makes oen wonder how much these breeds of dog actually understand and what they are eruing from speech melody and body language... it's sometimes creepy.

then there are dogs which are downright stupid. I have seen one who always ran out onto the street... after being run over by cars three times one might think he might learn to take care outside of any fenced area, but no. his owner had to electroshocking him, or else he would have run without heeding any call. -.-
