My little sheltie, Outlaws Cobalt Gambit, had his first birthday earlier in the month...and with it came his adult coat! He is one fluffy little dude.

I don't know if the art here is the photograph, the hour I spent brushing out my dog or (more likely) the dog himself.

He's a tactile delight! Lots of work to keep that coat at its best, though...especially since he's just shedding out the fine puppy coat. It tends to mat close to the skin, and has to be tended carefully.
